My Biography

Katie has over ten years of formal middle school science/STEAM teaching and environmental education experience, mainly in Milwaukee, WI. She is transitioning to supporting educators, especially those who have traditionally lacked access to high-quality STEAM materials, through providing kits of materials that can be checked out for a few weeks as well as support for educators who are implementing the materials. Katie is passionate about changing the STEAM materials divide between students who live in different communities and is excited to develop new skills to better support others.
